This is a unique service that we are alone on the market to offer. With hi-technology GPS-radar equipment we are able to locate existing infrastructure in the ground. This can the either be stored for documenting or be used and taken in account when designing a FTTH network
The radar is a one-pass 3D system providing a cost-effective solution for large scale mapping and subsurface object identification. It is the only system of its kind that seamlessly integrates acquisition, processing, QA/QC, positioning data, interpretation and export of ground penetrating radar data.
The system is designed using multiple antennas configured in an array, with the control unit as its base. Up to 30 antennas can be used simultaneously to gather data in real time.
COVERING THE HOLE AREA
We then proceed to drive over the are where we would like to map existing cables and ducts. As we drive thorough the area our routes get colourer on a digital map in real time, so how making sure we cover the whole area and not scanning anything twice.
After we have scanned our whole area we can translate that data to a useful and easy read output. The discovered infrastructure gets drawn on a digital street map. This data can be exported to any format you would like, for example an .dwg file great for future documenting. This data can also be used when designing new FTTH networks.
The data from the discovered files get put in to a document where each detected cable get assigned an id and it's length and most importantly depth gets displayed. You can then set a limit where they get in to your danger zone. If you don't want to pass cables shallower than 0,5 meters all cables shallower that that get highlighted.
